Ivx is looking for an experienced NOC Technician to provide technical support to users by researching and answering questions and troubleshooting problems. This is a full-time position located in London, GB and we are open to remote applications.

Responsibilities

  • Work with team to provide superior customer service during shift
  • Monitor and respond to alerts, alarms, and network anomalies
  • Provision test and document new orders
  • Manage work queues, allocate resources as needed
  • Interact with customers to resolve outstanding issues
  • Other duties as required and assigned by management
  • Maintains working knowledge of products and/or services
  • Provisioning of servers for new clients
  • Data Center walkthroughs
  • Greets colocation clients and provide them with access into their racks
  • Interact with and monitor the activities of external third party information technology vendors
  • Server intakes
  • Combat DDoS attacks
  • Configure and install SSL certificates
  • Performs other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate clearly and professionally
  • Ability to monitor and direct resources, resolve and document customer issues, and create and maintain proper procedures to ensure the highest possible customer satisfaction.
  • Ability to understand and follow written and verbal instructions
  • Strong organizational skills; able to manage priorities and workflow

  • Strong ability to deal professionally with clients via phone, email and chat
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with email (POP, IMAP, SMTP, Outlook, Webmail)
  • Versatility, flexibility, and a willingness to work within constantly changing priorities with enthusiasm.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with people at all levels and from various backgrounds
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplace.
  • Bilingual skills a plus.
  • Must be able to speak, read, write, and understand the primary language(s) used in the workplacebilingual skills are a plus.  Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business information, including but not limited to Company policies and procedures. Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
